I’m sharing recipes and tips on being frugal while polishing up my photography and creative writing skills. There’s an occasional spiritual discussion, a book review here and there, and probably more pictures of my dog than are strictly necessary. It’s part chat with a girlfriend over a glass of sweet tea, part conversation overheard in the grocery store checkout line, and part Thanksgiving dinner with the crazy branch of the family.

Off to College ~ Saints and Scripture Sunday

1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

I'm trying to keep this scripture in mind today. Thank you, everyone, for your kind words and good suggestions. Is this how mother birds feel when they shove baby birds out of the nest?

Thinking of you today. After he leaves, be sure and lock yourself in your room and eat a box of twinkies, then cry, then eat a bag of potatoe chips..then call him 25 times. I promise you'll feel better..xoxo

Can I tell you how big I smiled when I read this?

Beautiful passage, for an amazing mother --- you've done a fantastic job raising Aaron. I know this day will be difficult, and I'll be thinking about you.

Brett made fun of me - since I teared up when I told him about today. You know I'm an old softie.

Hi, I'm visiting from the Saints and Scripture Sunday link-up. :)

This is one of my favorite scripture verses!

Prayers going up as you adjust to your son going to college. God bless.

And here I was just full of anxiety about my 12 y/o daughter going away to camp for a week.

*sigh*

I never knew my heart could hold so much.

(Hug) for you from me
