I’m sharing recipes and tips on being frugal while polishing up my photography and creative writing skills. There’s an occasional spiritual discussion, a book review here and there, and probably more pictures of my dog than are strictly necessary. It’s part chat with a girlfriend over a glass of sweet tea, part conversation overheard in the grocery store checkout line, and part Thanksgiving dinner with the crazy branch of the family.

Patience ~ Saints and Scripture Sunday

Saints and Scripture Sunday

Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

It's so hard not to become weary doing what we know we're supposed to be doing, whether it's working hard at an unrewarding job, parenting a child going through a difficult phase, being nice to people who are driving you nuts, or whatever your challenge of the day might be. Lately I've been congratulating myself as I fall into bed each night for just making it through. And who knows, maybe "the proper time" is coming up soon - today, even. So, once again, I'll put on my big girl panties and deal with it. If you're looking for something spiritual that doesn't mention big girl panties drop by and visit Dianna at Saints and Scripture Sunday on The Kennedy Adventures.
